OVERVIEW

The Curiosity Mobile is a cross-country storytelling project created and hosted by curiosity Guide and author Scott Shigeoka.

At a moment when doom and division dominates news headlines and our social media feeds, the Curiosity Mobile elevates a different national story that’s grounded in courage, curiosity, and care.

Through a series of on-the-ground videos, Scott Shigeoka documents how people are fostering understanding, strengthening connection, and creating positive change in their communities.

As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Curiosity Mobile invites audiences to explore what freedom, unity, and democracy looks like in practice today by highlighting hopeful, human stories of people who are building a better country for all.

The videos, photos, and reflections that emerge from this project will be shared with the public through media coverage and social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
